British Cooking: Sunday Lunch

In the UK, Sunday lunch (also Sunday dinner) is a large traditional meal that is typically eaten at about one o'clock on a Sunday afternoon, with the whole family sitting together.
In the UK, traditional Sunday lunch consists of roast meat such as beef, chicken, or lamb, served with Yorkshire pudding, gravy, roast potatoes and other cooked vegetables, with a sweet dish served after this. Sunday lunch was traditionally eaten by the whole family together. This is no longer done as often as it was in the past, but many British pubs and restaurants serve a traditional Sunday lunch.
