Star Wars: Blue Milk

Blue Milk is a drink in Star Wars. Blue milk, sometimes known as Bantha milk, was a blue-coloured liquid produced by a female bantha’s mammary glands. A bantha was a fictional creature. Blue milk could be found on most planets across the galaxy. The milk was well known for being very rich and refreshing, its opaque colouring suggesting that it was also sweet. The milk was also used to make a variety of yogurt, ice cream, and cheese.
Its ubiquity inspired the military phrase "blue milk run." "Blue milk run" was a slang term used by military personnel to describe a simple and easy mission. The term was particularly common amongst Humans as a reference to the simplicity of obtaining a bottle of the popular blue milk. For example, during the Battle of Rendili, General Obi-Wan Kenobi commented that his investigation of an exploration vessel would likely be "nothing more than a blue milk run." Missions described as blue milk runs had an unfortunate tendency to be more difficult than initially thought.
