'BATMUPPET FOREVER' Movie Poster is Two-Facerrific!

Thanks to artist CCZ at Worth1000 for this Batman Forever/Muppet Mashup movie poster.  It is utterly hilarious, especially Fozzie (and Animal) as Two-Face.  You can tell this great mashup has been around for a while but  it is definitely worthy of a second look.  

Alan Moore's KILLING JOKE in Lego!

Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's chilling 1988 graphic novel Batman: The Killing Joke—which reminded us the Joker wasn't just a joke, but rather a homicidal maniac—is considered by many to be the greatest Joker story ever told. But who ever thought it could be just as chilling retold with LEGOs?

How influential was The Killing Joke? Heath Ledger was given a copy to help him create his character for The Dark Knight. And this presentation of the Joker's famous final speech from the graphic novel—just as tense with LEGOs as on the page—will show you why.

Calvin & Hobbes Art Fan Contest Part II - Brings us Star Wars, Batman & the Death of Spaceman Spiff

As mentioned in an earlier post, Superpunch is holding an art contest revolving around Calvin and Hobbes. Draw Calvin and Hobbes or anyone else in the style of Calvin and Hobbes. Michelle Lana created these stupendous superhero cartoons.  I don't know if she intentionally did a Peanuts/Superhero mash-up, but I love the way they look.

Batman Mini Funko Toys are Funkolicious

How sweet are these mini figures?  The new Mini Funko's are refined Blammoids with a touch of cool.  The upcoming line features Batman, Batgirl, Robin, the Joker and the Penguin in all Funko Force's trademark chibi glory, with each piece standing roughly 3.75" tall. You can preorder for $8.00 a piece these new Funko's at and should have them in your hands by September to October.

Like these?  As an avid action figure collector, I don't normally purchase the "non traditional" action figures but I do like their style. Tell us what you think.

The Rainbow Batman

Thanks to The Daily What Gfest discovered a great site where artist reinterpret comic book covers.  A novel idea that is very, very funny.  Above you can see Mike Walton's take on  Sheldon Moldoff’s legendary “Rainbow Batman” Detective Comics cover, which is just plain hilarious.
