Lost

Blind .
To many , our sight are our jewels .
If our sights are taken away from us , we tend to get lost .
Literally .
But now , being blind is somewhat the comforting choice for me .

I have lived a good life . Well , at least I tried to live a good life .
I love my family , my puppie , my friends ..
I do as many things as I can to help out my friends .
I try to be the best sibling anyone could have .
But , now I wish I were blind .

For if I were blind ..


I won't be able to love ,
I won't be able to choose ,
I won't be able to see the defects I get ,
I won't be able to fall for a girl ,
I won't see fear ,
I will never see the evil in this world .



I have seen enough in a lifetime .
I have seen , embraced and fought the good fight .
I do not mind being alone in the dark ,
Just as long I do not have to experience what I have been through .
And as for her , I do not know what she wants .
But maybe , it could be that I don't know what I want .
A while ago , I long hope to be alone ,
But now when I want to be with that someone , I cannot .


Being blind isn't as bad as it sounds .
Of course , I might not be able to do things I used to do .
Like sports , for example .
But giving up sports for the price of easy hearts and jovial life moments ,
I am most willing to do it .


Remember , what we see is what we will do .
And what we cannot see , won't hurt us .
And as for my love ....
Well , my love for you is blind .
There will be no other .
