New York's Hotel Carter, 'filthiest' third time in four years

New York's Hotel Carter, 'filthiest' third time in four years
Theconsumer travel web site TripAdvisor.com.has tagged The Hotel Carter in Times Square as the 'filthiest' hotel in America

This crown is awarded third time in four years.
Some comments from New York tourists who stayed at the Hotel Carter were scary to say the least.
Roaches, rats, black mold and stains of dubious origin are quite common & Hotel Carter’s website boasts that rooms were “designed with the budget traveler in mind.”

One person wrote: "The worst part about it was that at 4 a.m. I woke up to a bunch of guys breaking into our hotel room while we were sleeping!!"

Some people even mentioned encounters with brave vermin like roaches, mice and rats.

The funny thing is that the management at the Hotel Carter seems rather comfortable with their filthy rating.

"We are not bothered at all," hotel manager Erwin Lumanglas told the Daily News. "Even when they tell us we're the dirtiest hotel in the world, people are still interested in coming because of the price and the location."

In other words, you get what you pay for. You pay for a shitty hotel in Times Square, and that's exactly what you get.

In 2007 Hotel Carter was in the news for something grossly disgusting. In 2007, a housekeeper was evidently cleaning and found a dead body stuffed under a bed.
