- In a shoot out at secondary school in southwest Germany on Wednesday, a gunman killed 11 people mostly students.
It is the worst school shooting in the Germany in seven years.
As per the German media reports the gunman was dressed in black combat gear, had fled from the school in Winnenden, a town of 27,000 near Stuttgart, and was still at large.
"The suspect hasn't been caught yet," a police spokeswoman said.
At least 11 people had been killed, he said.
Helicopters were circling above the historic market town, which had been largely sealed off.

State officials say police have slained a 17-year-old gunman who killed 15 people in a school shooting in southwestern Germany.
Baden Wuerttemburg governor Guenther Oettinger says police shot the suspect after he fled the school.
State Interior Minister Heribert Rech says three teachers were among the 15 dead. Police say at least 10 students were also killed in Wednesday's attack.
