On The Way There ( US Open )

In dedication to my 150th post , I have decided to blog about one man whose worthy enough to be blogged about .

No , not Kim Jong Il . Or Obama .

It's Roger Federer .

I haven't been keeping you fellow readers updated on his latest achievements . Well , for starters he lost the Rogers Masters to France's Jo Wilfried Tsonga .

A shocking defeat by the French set Federer aside , making him able to concentrate on another tournament which is , the Western and Southern Financial Masters .

During the finals of the Western and Southern Financial Masters , Roger Federer came out victorious after demoloshing Serbia's Novak Djokovich .

I watched the match live at Fraser's Hill , and much to my amusement I find Novak has a lot of work to do if he wants to even come close to beating the Swiss ace .

Losing the first set by 5-1 .. that's something he should not be proud of . And that should have sent a message into that Serbian brain of his that he is still not capable of overpowering the Swiss Maestro .

This win means , this was Federer's fourth title of the year and 61st overall . It was his third win at the event , also winning in 2005 and 2007 .



All that's left now , is the prestigious US Open to which Federer has been waiting for after this Wimbledon triumphant .

Starting next Monday , the first match of the US Open will commence and without doubt , Roger will go all out to defend his US Open title , and to win a GrandSlam as a father of two twin girls .


However ...

Roger , Rafa and Serena .

Anna Wintour's favorite tennis player , Roger Federer , and her other tennis honey , Rafael Nadal , had a fashion face-off yesterday . They gathered with Serena Williams on a temporary tennis court at Broadway and 23rd Street to reveal their US Open ensembles by Nike.

I don't know about you guys but , they definitely look good on and off court . LoL .

I really hope Roger and Serena wins the US Open . Lets all put our hands together and pray to God that they will be able to defend their crown .

For they , are King and Queen of the US Open .
