Talking About Appearance: Handsome

When the adjective handsome is used of men, it means good-looking; of attractive appearance. When it is used of women, it means strong-looking; attractive with a firm, large appearance rather than a delicate one.
In English the initialism TDH stands for tall, dark and handsome. It should be noted that the phrase "tall, dark and handsome" refers to to a tall dark and handsome white man, not other races: a white man who is tall, handsome and with darker skin and hair. Certainly a white man could be also be attractive without being tall and dark!

Handsome Prince

A character in fairy stories who sometimes changes from a frog into a prince or breaks a spell, then marries the princess so that the story ends happily. In real life, there are many handsome princes: one of them is Harry (Princess Diana's son) and the two boys that Caroline of Monaco had with Stefano Casiraghi, Andrea and Pierre.
It is said, however, that women in general get tired of waiting for their handsome prince.
