Word Distinction: Viewing Places

Scenery is the general appearance of part of the country, considered from the point of view of beauty:
We passed through some beautiful scenery on our journey through the Lake District.
A landscape is any combination of hills, valleys, fields, etc, seen in a particular area.
The landscape was typical of the Lake District, with high mountains, lakes, and deep valleys.
View is used to talk about what you see at a distance from a particular place, considered from the point of view of how much you are able to see:
You’ll get a fine view of the town from the top of the hill.
A scene is what you see both close up and at a distance, and may include people and movement:
a happy scene of children playing in the park
