Corn dogs are usually eaten at outdoor shows or sporting events rather than at home. The corn dog is also called pogo, dagwood dog, wobo, pluto pup, mercury mutt, krusty pup, or corny dog.
National Corndog Day is an American celebration of basketball, the corn dog, Tater Tots, and American beer that occurs in March of every year.
