Thou Shall Blow Thy Enemies To Tiny Bits

Hello peeps !

I have not been making a full posted-blog as I am busy at the moment .

But seeing as how I am free as a bird right now , I think I'll let you all in on some things you should know and see.

Anyways , there are two movies which I would recommend you to watch on Astro ( HBO , StarMovies ) .
One is called , ' The Beach ' and the other is called ' Thomas Crown Affair ' .

Both of these movies are extremely smart and well acted by two very talented actors .

The protagonist of the movie ' The Beach ' is the ever-optimistic spirited , Jack Dawson of ' Titanic ' played by Leonardo DiCaprio . Wherelse the ' Thomas Crown Affair ' stars the British actor , Pierce Brosnan .

I'll explain more about these movies later . But for now ,

I would like you all to feast your eyes on these videos I scooped up last night .

Well then , you might wanna have a look at this then ( watch the ball Federer hits and the net )





And the crowd goes , " Whoaaaahhhh .. "

When luck and skills are on Federer's side , even the outrageous becomes a fact .



3 ) Let's look back during the Wimbledon 2009 . Where Roger Federer's first match against a Taiwanese at the main court , where the grass is still fresh and green , and the seats in the stadium have not been filled up and sat on ..

When on grass , Roger Federer shows no mercy .





This , I think , is what makes Roger Federer a complete professional tennis player .

Anyways , this game is called '' Worms '' . And the bomb they just used is called , Holy Hand Grenade .

My sisters used to play this game using the old , rotten computer upstairs . And everytime at the ending part of the game I will ask them to do what has been shown above .

It really is hysterical , to me at least .


P/S : There's a worm that said " Bye bye " and proceeded by comitting suicide . I think that's because if there is a worm that has too little life left , he has to bomb himself .

The Beach .

Richard (Leonardo DiCaprio) , a young American backpacking in Thailand , has come to South East Asia with the intention of experiencing something radically different from his familiar life . He hears of an island paradise commonly held to be urban legend . According to rumor , a secret community of travelers who have left behind their former lives inhabits the island . Richard initially dismisses the island's existence , but later meets Daffy ( Robert Carlyle ) , who identifies himself as a former inhabitant and gives Richard a map ..

Richard meets Françoise ( Virginie Lyedyen ) and her boyfriend, Étienne ( Guillaume Canet ) , and convinces them to accompany him to the island . They travel from Bangkok to the shores of Koh Phangan , in the Gulf of Thailand where Richard befriends a pair of American surfers who mention the legend . He does not admit his knowledge but copies his map and slides it under their door .

To reach the island , Richard , Françoise and Étienne must hop between several adjacent islands . When they first arrive on the island , they come across an enormous marijuana plantation , guarded by local men armed with AK-47 assault rifles . They manage to evade detection and find the community of travelers . They are seen by Keaty ( Patterson Jospeh ) , who takes them to the beach community . They are interrogated by the island's leader Sal ( Tilda Swinton ) regarding their knowledge of the island but eventually accepted into the community .

All hell breaks lose afterwards .

I'd give this movie a 9/10 rating for its excellency .

The Thomas Crown Affair

Thomas Crown is a wealthy and adventurous businesman who savors a good challenge . Among other diversions he crashes an expensive catamaran while racing and bets one hundred thousand dollars on a golf swing simply because " it's a beautiful Saturday morning , " and there is not much else to do .

Crown orchestrates an elaborate New York museum heist to steal a painting ( San Giorgio Maggiore at dusk ) by Monet valued at one hundred million dollars. The insurers of the artwork send ace insurance investigator Catherine Banning to assist Detective Michael McCann and the police in solving the crime .

From the beginning, Banning suspects Crown is behind the theft. A game of cat-and-mouse ensues that results in their becoming lovers and gives Crown exactly what he was seeking, as his psychiatrist puts it : " A worthy adversary . "

To prove his sincerity and test her loyalty to him, Crown returns to the museum under the eye of Banning and dozens of police officers , vowing to put the stolen painting back .

This love and romance movie is not only well played , but well planned .

It is one of the most brilliant movies I have ever watched since " The Illusionist '' .

And because of that , I give this movie a brilliant , 9.5/10 rating !
