I was standing at a party the other night and across
the room was an attractive woman .
I looked at her and cocked my eye -
She looked at me and cocked her eye back .
And there we stood , cock-eyed .

Hello earthlings !

As you all should know by my continuos ranting for the past days that the Australian Open will commence on Monday ( 18th January ) .

And you can bet your bottom dollar that I will catch Roger Federer's matches until the point where he loses or when the tournament ends .

Truthfully , my faith in Federer is beginning to wear out . I do believe that most professional tennis players will start to 'degrade' at the age of 30 and Federer is nothing short of becoming thirty .

Nevertheless , my prayers and consistent idolization goes out to Roger ( Woger ) because although he broke the record of 14 GrandSlams ( by Pete Sampras ) , getting his 16th GrandSlam will do wonders .

The only person I'm so annoyed of right now is the Russian named Davydenko .

Twice , he has ruined Roger's run to become a champion . But I definitely have to thank him as wel for taking away Rafael Nadal's chances on becoming the winner too . So it seems that at every cloud there IS a silver lining .

Still . It would be nice to see a classic finals between Federer and Nadal , like the one the whole world saw at the Wimbledon 2008 . Purely exhilirating and an event not to be missed , Nadal eventually won on that awful day .

Roger Federer has set up a series of exhibition games ahead of the Australian Open to raise funds for the victims of the Haiti earthquake .

The world number one has recruited a number of stars, including Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams, to play doubles matches on Sunday at Melbourne Park.

" I had the idea that we could do something , "

said the 29-year-old.

With the first major tournament of the season set to begin on Monday , the top stars in tennis are keen to unite and help provide some funds for the victims of the tragedy .

Spectators will be charged A$ 10 ( £5 .60 ) on the gate , with the event taking place in the Rod Laver Arena , the tournament's showpiece court .

Federer , who lost to Spain's world number two Nadal in last year's Australian Open final , added:

" I spoke to some other top players .

They all said 'yes' , we should do something .

"So we're going to play doubles or mixed doubles ,

also with top women's players and try to fill up the stadium .

" I think there will be a donation at the door to come and see us play .

I think it is something as a tennis family we're very happy to do . "

Defending champion Serena Williams , US Open champion Kim Clijsters and Australia's 13th seed Samantha Stosur will all play in the " Hit For Haiti " event , with other players set to be added to the line-up .

What have I been doing for the past few days ?

Well . I went for lunch with Joel , Patrick and some other friends . We ate in a restaurant called BBQ Chicken at Taipan . Heard of it before ?

You better . For all of you dishrags who live in Subang Jaya your entire life and still not know about this restaurant . You should sued for that :D

Anyways . The food wasn't half bad . It's just that the prices are ridiculously high . Total sum of RM 100 was printed on the receipt to which I had to pay for everyone first .

Don't worry . I wasn't scam .

Those who feasted on those middle-grade , hole-in-your-wallet-making food eventually paid me back .

Anyways . Joel and Hazel came to my house after that and after a while doing some stuffs they went back .

Earlier the day , my school was having this ' Larian Merentas Desa ' type of event . I was supposed to go that morning but my legs completely failed me that dreaded morning .

I couldn't walk properly without feeling every ounce of pain coarsing through my veins . In other words , it was excruciating .

But I did not complain to my mum about this fearing that she might nag about how reckless I have been or worse ..

Take me to a bloody doctor .

Thus , I would like to express my greatest regret and also to apoligize to among those whom I promised to walk rather than run with during that day .

Joel especially .

Today !

I went for my usual tennis matches and GOD was I good at it .

My forehands were good , backhands were unbelieveable . And my services were on its road to deliciousness .

Do you guys think I'm ready for the MSSD that's coming up soon ?

I'd like to think and hope so . It's gonna be my first time representing anyone in anything . So , I might catch the cold feet syndrome but ..

A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do , right ?

Other than that , I also attended my badminton training with Soon Leong and the rest .

And for the first time , I was chosen to practice with pros at the pros section !

The coach came up to me and asked me to join him at their corner . And it wasn't as grueling as the first two lessosn I attended this month .

On the contrary , I had much more fun this time . I made jokes and everyone else laughed . Funny .

It feels like yesterday I was struggling at the beginner's section , working out my footsteps and swings with all the other people .

Hah .. ALL of this COULD mean something .

*************

I absolutely hate Mondays .

Hate it . Despise it . Feeling , repulsive .

Don't ask why . Everyone knows the answer why .

It's all because of the add-maths ..

Signing off
