" Well , thank you , darling .
But if you think for one second that I'm gonna break bread with that
malicious , pill-popping shrew , you're out of your mind . "

Hello peeps !

I only have two things to share with you for today ! The first will be about my relaxing get-away from all the madness here at Subang and of course , the disappointing defeat of Roger Federer in Wimbledon this year .

But before I start with today's post , let me be the first to wish you guys through the Internet ,

Happy Belated 4th of July !

As most of you should know , 4th of July is something like America's independence day , the day where their country was united into one . Or something like that . I don't really know nor I care about it .

That event to me is so useless , it's like the 4th of July in England . So anyways , without further a due , let me present to you , my holiday in Cherating , at the the luxurious Swiss Garden Hotel.

******************

The actual reason my mum , sister and me went on this holiday to Pantai Balok , Pahang is that we were supposed to fetch and accompany my brother to his university . It's his first day , you know . His university was at Gambang , Pahang , which happens to be maybe an hour's drive away from Cherating , a famous area known for it's wonderful beaches , water sports and of course great hotels .

So anyways , we left the house at 5 in the morning that Saturday . While everyone was sound asleep , my house was left abandoned with no one but my eldest sister who decided not to go and of course my little and adorable puppy , who took our departure rather serious . As we were about to close our doors and step into the car , sensing that we were about to leave for some place far , it actually let out a bark !

Anyways , the journey there was spectacular . Misty cool conditions affected us all as it was a peaceful and cold morning . There wasn't much sun until around 10 am to which by that time , the sun was blazing hot . The highway throughout the east coast area was in fact different from the west coast highway . It was full of hills , mountains and places where trees and giant boulders were only to be seen .

Seriously , much different that the west coast highway which leads to Ipoh or Penang .

So , here are some pictures before we continue any further .

My sister and I were bored , so we decided to take a picture of
her massive ring .

And here are the conditions throughout the journey there which
was priceless .

And after we have prepared , cleaned and registered my brother in for his first day at his university , we said our goodbye's and headed up north for our short-termed vacation .

Here's what we saw as soon as we were arriving .

It wasn't easy taking pictures of the signboards
as the car was speeding past it at 110km per/h .

Although we took a wrong turning which delayed our travel for about 20minutes , we knew we were almost there as we caught the sight of the coastal area not far from us and once we arrived at the hotel , the sights pretty much took our breaths away .

The lobby's like this big place partially built on water ..
to which I will show you guys later .

And without further a due , I'm about to show you guys the surroundings like the beach , the pool and the restaurant that we ate our buffet dinner at that makes this place so awesome . It's no wonder there are lots of foreign visitors here ( not to mention some hot teenage girls ) .

The view from my room balcony when we're about to leave for dinner

During our dinner
( sorry couldn't take more pictures of the food .
Too busy eating (: )

What makes this place so classy ?
They actually have a fine array of wine to select from .
This place is not like one of those hotels where wine are banned
for a certain reason to which I will not mention here ..

Now , here are some of the pictures we took at night while enjoying the ' hurricane ' winds that were blowing harder than a Japanese whore . I swear , it was colder than Fraser's Hill at that time . My face , hands , legs and parts above my legs were actually being chilled and frosted -.-
Yes , please forgive the crazy-ness of my and my sister . You are about to see how close and yet , high we were that night .

Tilt your head to your left ,
You'll see a pair of legs above water

What's infront of me is actually a pool that leads off to the edge
of the hotel . Kinda dark , I know .

I can't remember what this was , honestly .
xD

-.-
I am not proud of this moment

What my sister forces me to do these days , I will never know ..

Here's when we were literally blown away
by majestic winds at the lobby

On the way to the beach

Breakfast , again .. All you can eat (:

Here's what I found on the beach
My sister and I call it , Mr. Lala

Now , let me show you our room . It's pretty amazing . (:

Yes , that is a flat screen TV ( Samsung )

As for the bathrooms , well .. you think about it . Think about what kinda' bathroom suits a room that has this much elegance .

Anyways , all good things must come to an end . Here are the pictures on the way back . But before we did , we stopped by a shop selling batik merchandises .

How far my mum's used her car for travel

Crossing Pahang River

Overall , this place has lived up to his reputation . One thing's for sure , it has sucessfully accomodated two of Subang Jaya's most crazy people and it survived to tell the tale .

It's a shame we didn't had much of the time to fully use the arcade room , which would have been fun ! The beach was great , lots of endless supply of wind blowing in from the South China Sea , and the most memorable moment has to be that night time where we sat at the lobby , listened to some live music while getting our whole body , head to toe , blown away by strong winds that was just so out of this world .

The seafood there was delicious , although rather expensive . But , we didn't regret eating at the hotel restaurant as dining at that place was remarkable . We did get a chance to visit the arcade room , but just for a few games as it was around 10pm at night . Darn , we could've enjoyed playing table tennis there ! D:

I definitely would wanna' visit there again , if the chance surfaces .

On the 4th July 2010 , we witnessed the rise of the Spaniard , also known as the King of Clay claiming the prestigious Wimbledon trophy . Biting the edges of the trophy , a trademark of the Spaniard's character .

Rafael Nadal's victory here at Wimbledon over the Czech towering force that brought down the great Swiss , Roger Federer came as no surprise to Vijay Amrithraj , comentator of Wimbledon . Nadal has now eclipsed John McEnroe by winning his eighth grandslam title .

And the question on everyone's mind is in fact , can Roger Federer claim back his once glorious victory over the King of Clay ? Can he once again prove not only to the community of tennis but the world itself that he is infact and always will be number one ?

Battling with the upcoming younger generations of tennis , Federer seems to be srtuggling even on his preferred courts . With younger players stepping in on court , it seems that end for the Swiss after winning a whopping total of 16 GrandSlams is just around the corner .

Has the reign of Roger Federer come to a close ?

It has been 5 months now since the Swiss has won a title , with his most recent victory at the Australian Open against Britain's number one , Andy Murray . The Swiss overcame the Brit in straight sets before clinching his 16th GrandSlam . At the same time , Serena Williams of America pulled her nerves together to a decisive victory against come-back queen , Justine Henin .

Ever since Roger Federer started losing to players like Del Potro , and than Robin Soderling , younger generations of tennis players feel that the King of Grass who have reigned supreme for 5 years is suddenly feeling vulnerable . And using the Swiss's age to their advantage , younger tennis players feel no threat to the Swiss , on the contrary , are playing more aggressively with the thought that they can win in their heads .

Although Roger Federer's promise to slowly creep back to the top of the world rankings seem to be farfetch'd to some , it is most likely that the dreaded moment every professional tennis player in this world has finally hit Federer , the aging factor .

Back when Federer was a young player himself , he stood out victorious against the legendary Pete 'Pistol ' Sampras . Time and time again , with Federer claiming victory after victory against the American ace , the American himself decided to call it quits , retiring from the world of tennis with the total of 14 GrandSlam titles which was the most GrandSlam titles ever gained in the men's category .

Perhaps it's wise to question Roger Federer's remainding days in tennis ? I mean , it's better for him to leave with a whole lot of titles in his pocket than to leave after loosing match after match to compatriots that the Swiss can usually beat easily .

But Roger has no plans from leaving the world of tennis that fast . He claims that he wishes to play tennis until even after his 30's if his health permits .

But either way , we cannot deny that the Swiss maestro has entertained the world with his elegant tennis and his profound class that distinguishes him as the greatest tennis player of all time . I mean , there cannot be another man who looks , speaks and most importantly plays like the way he does .

That my friends , is without a doubt a firm testament .

Oh well , today's post looks to be good enough .

I'll see you guys again next time , but not too soon . (:

I'm finally getting the hang of servicing with ease . Which has been my goal since I've started this sport back in 2009 .

But do remember my warnings , do NOT listen to Justin Bieber or this guy who sings a song entitled " Riding Solo " which turns out to be more of a rubbish than a song . What ?
He plans to ride solo ? I don't know about you guys but that sounds wrong on 2 different levels .

Let's put it this way , will you put your child in the care of a guy named Justin Biber or Jason DeRulo , the caveman who invented the song " Ridin Solo " ?

Think peace ,
