Nolan Casting a Female Villain and Love Interest for 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Deadline, who first  broke the news that Tom Hardy has joined the cast of The Dark Knight Rises, now is reporting another interesting casting rumor.
"Chris Nolan is lining up actresses he'll meet for two female lead roles in The Dark Knight Rises, the third installment of the Batfranchise which Warner Bros has dated release on July 20, 2012. I'm told one of the roles is a love interest for Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne, and the other is a villain. The actresses are: Rachel Weisz, Naomi Watts, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Keira Knightley."
Does the mean the Catwoman and Talia Al Ghul rumours could possibly be true since Nolan is indeed looking for a female villain?  On the other hand, there are of plenty of love interests for Bruce Wayne that they could pick from the comic books.

My gripe with this rumor is centered around Blake Lively.  There is no way in hell Warner Brothers is going to allow Blake Lively (aka Carol Ferris) the star of the fist of three Green Lantern movies to play another character in Christopher Nolan's, The Dark Knight Rises. Thus, I have a hard time believing the validity of this claim.  We'll just have to wait and see.

The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

Brooke Burke Makes a VERY GOOD Catwoman

Why doesn't every holiday require sexy women to dress in costume and parade around town?  Wouldn't Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Christmas or St. Patrick's Day be more fun with a little cosplay skin?

Catwoman.  The word is synonymous with sexy.  And, to prove my point, here’s one of the hottest women (and moms) on the planet, Brooke Burke at the 17th Annual Dream Halloween shindig dressed up as the sexiest Catwoman that I’ve seen in a long, long time. Wow, seeing Brooke Burke in that skin-tight suit feels like I'm looking at a Jim Lee or Adam Hughes comic book.

Christopher Nolan in Search for New Female Lead in Batman 3

Hardly earth shattering or breaking new but production of Christopher Nolan's third Batman feature film gathers steam with closed meetings with young fresh faced starlets.

From the quite reliable Comic Book Movie and MovieHole comes this nugget of information.
Several young (“Late 20′s, early 30′s”) ladies are meeting with the Caped Crusader’s resuscitator this week to talk about the new film. Interestingly enough, quite a few of the ladies don’t actually know what role they’re being asked to read for/meet Nolan about (yep, security is tighter on this thing than the department store Jonathan Switcher worked at in “Mannequin” – Okay, maybe a bit tighter than that) they’ve just accepted an offer to “meet” with the filmmaker. Presumably, they’ll leave the meeting knowing quite a bit more.
I’ve the names of a couple of the young ladies meeting with Nolan, but I’ve checked in with them and they’ve kindly asked me not to name them – at least until they’re convinced they haven’t got the job (fair enough, don’t want to jinx it for anyone).  What I can say is that Nolan is open to casting a fresh face as the female lead; he’s not necessarily bringing in the big guns.
Again, this "revelation" is anything but breaking news, but just adds to the speculation of what character he is auditioning young ladies for at the moment.

Could it be Julie Madison, Vicki Vale, Selina Kyle, Talia Al Ghul, Barbara Gordon?  What female character from the Batman Universe would you like to see on the big screen

Katy Perry May Make a Decent Catwoman in Batman 3

Katy Perry slips into a latex catsuit with a tail for an ad for her new fragrance, Purr.

She looks pretty good in a cat costume.  Christopher Nolan should take a look her if he decides Catwoman will have a role in Batman 3.  Although, those luscious breasts may make it difficult to jump, hop, twist, somersault, climb, claw, and flip when she's running from Bruce or the law.

Bad kitty, Bad kitty!  I'll make you purr.

Super Sexy Villainess Halloween Costumes for 2010 (Possibly NSFW)

A very intelligent person once said, "“Halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it.”  It's sad to think that so many women throughout our country feel they can only dress this way one-day-a-year without being labeled.

Well ladies if you're going to go the sexy/slutty route this Halloween, why not get in touch with your inner "bad girl" geek? What's sexier than a bad-girl?  Not a damn thing!

The last two weeks we began our weekly Halloween feature which highlights one sexy superhero costume each week until October 31.  This week decided to go the "bad-girl" route and show-off our favorite female villain costumes.

Hopefully these costumes will provide a bit of inspiration for our lovely, beautiful and secretly "bad" female readers to wear to this years party or your favorite heroes bedroom.

BRUCE WAYNE: THE RETURN HOME Teaser Art

DC's The Source released these images for BRUCE WAYNE – THE RETURN HOME, a series of one-shot specials spotlighting the many key players in Batman’s world, "spotlighting not only their attempts to defeat a looming threat, but also to come to terms with the return of their mentor, father figure and friend – for better or worse."

I am very excited to have Bruce Wayne back in Gotham and wearing the cowl.  I don't know exactly how DC will pull this off with all the various story-lines surrounding Bruce, Dick, Tim, Damien, Hush, Brightest Day, JLI, etc., but just knowing the real Batman is back ( don't f*ck it up Grant & Dan) will suffice for now.

My only concern is how DC tends to operate in these situations - One Shots!  I dislike when they do this because traditionally the stories are always sub-par and it usually results in me wasting $3.99 for each of these issues that for all intent and purpose have no relationship to the actual "Event."

Below are the images from the various one-shots that DC will release next month in honor of BRUCE WAYNE: THE RETURN HOME.

PREVIEW: BATMAN BEYOND #4 - "Hush" Killer & Catwoman Revealed

I love BATMAN BEYOND.  I love the comic.  I love the animated series.

This miniseries by writer Adam Beechen and artist Ryan Benjamin has been superb.  The dynamic between Terry and Bruce; the introduction of the Hush character; the mystery behind Catwoman; the collection of former Batman foes contained within the story; and the futuristic setting makes this one of my favorite monthly titles.

When DC Comics announced that this title would get a regular monthly series I was ecstatic.

September 15 is it, BATMAN BEYOND fans – the secret of the new Catwoman is revealed, along with the identity of the mystery killer. Gotham City remains under siege as Terry McGinnis and Bruce Wayne find themselves at odds. Not great timing, especially with Batman finding himself at odds with a vengeance-crazed villain.  Below is a preview to get your blood pumping.
